What is your favourite food memory from childhood?
My favourite childhood memory would be grilled
cheese sandwich and Maggi. No two ways about it.
What’s your favourite comfort food?
Surely, it is a Pizza.
3 reasons why you consider yourself a Foodie?
1. I workout really hard to maintain my
weight but I cannot control my passion for food. I like eating delicious and
yummy food from outside at least 3 times a week.
2. Over the years, I have realized that food
cannot be a compromise. Even if it is
low calorie, the taste has to be perfect.
3. A foodie like me tends to get depressed when
there would be no food. Good
food can lighten up my mood instantly.
What’s the strangest dish you’ve ever tried?
I did try Pumpkin Pav (Dabeli) and it was
delicious!
If you had to eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Definitely it would be PANI PURI.

Your take on:
Keto diets
– I surely think it is difficult to sustain an entire lifetime with this diet.
Moreover, once you stop it, the weight jumps back.
Intermittent
fasting – Effective and quite good to resort to this fasting. It comes with a
scientific backing and has good results.
Fusion
food cuisine – This cuisine gives a good twist to a particular cuisine and if
made well can be really a hit. I do
agree that some restaurants have really mastered it.
Which superfoods have impressed you the most?
Nuts are my absolute favourite. They taste good,
besides which they are loaded with nutrients and satiate your hunger pangs.
What are your favourites?
Indian street food – Vada Pav
Indian
dessert – Phirni
Hidden gem
restaurant of your city (and why) – Soma, Grand Hyatt which has a set menu which is delicious.
Another one which shut down recently was
Jewel of India. One of my personal favourites and the food was as good as it
tasted years ago.
Over-rated Indian restaurant in your city (and why) – Sanchos and
Sante Spa.
The
restaurant you keep going back to - Yauatcha, Papaya, Bayroute and Yazu.
How do you detox your body after an overdose of
eating out?
I opt for a healthy diet which consists of Dalia
Khichdi or a salad.
Any health
foods you swear by?
Egg is my go to! It is full of important
proteins and nutrients and can be made tasty at the same time. It’s an all-time
favourite!
