My comfort food is always home-made dishes which have been prepared by myself. Home food is loaded with fresh ingredients which are full of nutritional value. My all-time favourite would be kaali masoor ki dal and rice.

3 reasons why you consider yourself a Foodie?
I have an innate passion and undying love for food.
I love indulging my senses with the tantalizing aroma of spices and relishing those condiments. Being a foodie, desserts hold a special place for me.
My life as a foodie is incomplete without savouring new dishes.

What’s the strangest dish you’ve ever tried?

When you happen to be raised in Delhi, you have no option but to surrender yourself wholeheartedly to Rajma chawal, Kadhi chawal and paratha.

What kind of oil do you use most of all?
Hailing from North India, we prefer to change oil as per season/weather. It's kachi ghani mustard oil used in winter along with desi ghee. Summers, we make use of sunflower/ refined /olive oil. Ghee is an important feature in our cuisine. The health benefits of a spoonful of ghee used on a daily basis are amazing.

Which is the most over-rated food cuisine?
Definitely not Indian cuisine at all. I believe that the Chinese cuisine is surely hyped. We are used to Indian version of Chinese and as a result we love it. In reality, the Chinese cuisine has different flavours.
