What is your favourite food memory from childhood?
Indulging in steaming hot saadi khichadi with papad, salad and lots of desi ghee in it.

What’s your favourite comfort food?
Gobhi Tomato, Sour Dahi Kadhi and Bharwa Mirchi with crispy tikkad roti.  I am sure you will find all this mouth-watering.

3 reasons why you consider yourself a Foodie?
I don't label myself a "foodie", but someone who appreciates & adores HEALTHY food, eating it, breathing it, cooking/baking it, living it and of course DREAMING FOOD TOO.
Travel and food go hand-in-hand. I love travelling and learning more about food and cultures is a passion.
My palate is very adventurous and I'm willing to try everything once at least (Only VEGETARIAN).

Which are your three favourite cuisine? Why?
Indian - Because I love my roots
Mexican - I love the manner in which they use the spices and seasonings.
Arabic – Die-hard fan of hummus and pita. So healthy and yummy.

Do you have a favourite food ingredient?
Yes. I love freshly chopped coriander leaves and cumin powder in every dish I cook.

Which food ingredient do you loathe/think is overrated?

What’s the strangest dish you’ve ever tried?
I had vegan prawns (Mock Meat) in Melbourne, Australia. Being vegetarian by choice, it was hard to even taste them. They looked quite similar to prawns in appearance.

What is your favourite fruit and vegetable? And your favourite herb/spice?
I love Strawberries, Cucumber, Mint leaves and Cinnamon powder 

If you had to eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Bajre ki roti, Gobhi, Dal tadka and garlic chutney 

Have you ever travelled anywhere mainly for the food?
Yes. Indore. The city is a house of lip-smacking vegetarian street food. And yes, travelled to Mysore too for the special Maddur Vada.

What’s been your biggest kitchen splurge so far?
Oster Air Fryer

What kind of oil do you use most of all?
I use combinations of oils and keep changing them. Olive oil for salad dressings and stir-fries or coconut oil for smoothies and some cooking. Sometimes, Rice bran oil, Soya bean oil or Sunflower oil.

Any quirky food dishes combinations you have invented or love feasting on?
My inventions - Kesari Aloo ka Halwa, Idli ke Burgers, Soup Salad, Dalia Risotto, etc. I love to indulge in all of these along with Pani Puri served with 7 differently flavoured pani.

Your take on:
 Keto diets – Please don't google Keto diets; consult a qualified nutritionist.
Intermittent fasting – Worth trying, if your lifestyle is similar to IF diets. However, always practise it under nutritional guidelines of a nutritionist.
Fusion food cuisine – It's good to discover new dishes without letting the authenticity or essence of the original recipe vanish.

Flaxseeds, Walnuts, Eggs, Garlic and Sweet potatoes

Indian street food – Sev puri
Indian dessert – Sondesh
Hidden gem restaurant of your city – Banana leaf

Over-rated Indian restaurant in your city (and why) – 
Bademiya (It's just good kebabs/rolls you'll find at 4am in Mumbai).

Sante Spa – amazing vegan food with good flavours.

How do you detox your body after an overdose of eating out?
I don't skip my meals or delete any carbs/ proteins from them. I prefer eating small meals in regular intervals and try to include lot of salads, fruits, sprouts and liquids. Likewise, I avoid skipping my exercise routine.

Any health foods you swear by?
I can't do without my Millet Roti, buttermilk, vegetable salads and a bowl of fox nuts.
